I’m happy to report that my roofline WS2811 LEDs are now controlled by an ESP8266/NodeMCU running WLED. Aircoookie did an amazing job on this project and it really just keeps getting better with each update. Apr 21, 2020 · Hi all, I’m having some issues understanding segments and numbering. I understand segment numbering is supposed to start with 0 but something seems off. If I select 0 to 10 it shows 10 LEDS(I would have thought that would be 11) but I only get 9 LEDS on on my WS2811/15 strip. If I switch it to 1 to 10 (which I would think would be 10 LEDS) it shows 9 and works. Can someone please clarify ...

Hi, I've been searching for an answer and was unable to resolve it. Problem: WLED goes offline after some time (more than an hour I believe). I'm using a powerbank and a nodemcu. Running la... Plug the power supply into the timer switch and ensure WLED is set to always start ON in the settings. You could even consider one of the many available plug-in WiFi switches which can also be programmed with schedules.

For that we’re going to use a simple $3 controller and some free software called WLED. There are a lot of control board options. Because I want this to be as easy as possible for anyone to do, I suggest using the NodeMCU.
